A little bit of history

Bouillac is a village located on the bank of Lot at the western extremity of our area. It is on the Aveyron side of the border between the Aveyron and the Lot. The history of Bouillac is related to the river trade: the port was already important in the 11th century. The two sides of the river grew at the same time. The church St Martin was built on the left bank in the 12th century ; the castle was built on the right bank in 1475.

Today

The town has now turned to tourism and water sports. A lot of activities can be undertaken such as canoeing, rowing, pedalo, fishing…
