By the colours and movement of his murals, the artist Henri Guérin, better-known as a creator of stained-glass windows, offers us an interpretation, spiritual and exalted, of the passage from death to the resurrection : the surfaces of flat-tint – black, red, and green – in a left-to-right movement, are made more soothing to the eye by bands of white, like breaths of light wind leading towards transcendence and resurrection.
