Saint Augustine’s Spring has been opened up since 1965 to contribute to the revival of thermal cures (balneology) in the Cransac area. It is a spring of special water recognized for its virtues in treating skin diseases : allergies, certain types of eczema, and psoriasis. You should only drink it if you have a doctor’s prescription, but it is worth making a short detour to discover the spring’s interesting features : installed in a former mine gallery, it pervades the atmosphere with its odours and colours.
