It was introduced on january 2018 to allow tourist development in Decazeville District. Its profit is allocated to improving tourist attendance, ensuring part of the tourist office running costs, improving and promoting tourist reception and activities.

It is collected by the lodger on the clients, then paid back to the Communauté de Communes to be entirely transferred to the tourist office.

It is charged per night and per person according to different fares and categories ( by decision of the Distict Council)
